Senior Web Developer

We require a Senior Web Developer to develop websites and bespoke web applications.

Substantial experience with ASP.NET (including MVC), SQL Server and Content Management Systems is essential, along with a good working knowledge of OOP. A strong understanding of JavaScript and proven experience with XHTML and CSS including accessibility standards is vital. Previous exposure to off the shelf CMS solutions and intranet solutions, such as MOSS, would be highly beneficial. An understanding of PHP and some experience in this field would be a bonus.

We work on a wide range of projects – site development, online ads, social media, online PR to name a few – with clients from a variety of sectors, many who are well-known household names.

The successful Senior Web Developer would be joining a friendly and technically driven team . Additionally you will have the last day of each month reserved for knowledge-sharing and socialising with the team. Essential Skills

  • Substantial experience C#/.NET 2.0/3.5 and SQL Server
  • Experience with / knowledge of ASP.NET MVC framework
  • Expert in standards compliant XHTML and CSS
  • Cross browser testing
  • Working knowledge of jQuery, AJAX, JSON
  • Thorough knowledge of off the shelf ASP.NET CMS’
  • Experience with version control (Git/Subversion)
  • Experience with IIS and maintaining web servers
  • Strong quality focus and experience providing quotes and technical specifications
  • Flexibility, initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate technical details courteously and clearly to non-technical users

Senior Digital Project Manager

We require a full time project manager to join the team in running a number of digital projects, ranging in size and deliverables.

The work will involve writing project documents, planning schedules, client communication and working with the existing team to get what’s needed done (as well as other normal Project Management tasks). You may be required to manage your own small projects as well as helping the other Project Managers out where needed, or be focussed on one larger project.

Digital Account Director

We’re looking for an Account Director with a strong background, experience and interest in digital marketing and engaging communities via social media to work on two exciting clients within a fast growing, tightly knit team.

The digital Account Director must have extensive experience in the agency arena with digital communications, social media strategies and execution, and a variety of digital marketing techniques. Knowledge of and interest in the ever-changing social media landscape is required, along with the newest innovations, the most popular platforms and the trusted online marketing tools for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in digital marketing and/or social media communications, at least 3 of which should be at an agency. A proven track record of excellent client service, successful digital campaigns and winning new business is a must. The candidate should feel at ease managing a team and working with a variety of other stakeholder groups both internal and external.

Significant thought leadership about the digital space is a plus, including proven track record of blogging and/or social media engagement apart from client-specific efforts. Experience with drinks clients and / or DMC training a strong benefit.

Specific areas of required knowledge

  • Social Media
    • Social networking strategies, from group communications to ad placement and applications for groups
    • Online influencer engagement and relationship-building with individuals, over email and in person, and the organisation of social media meet ups for clients
    • Microblogging and public social media networking tools such as Twitter
  • Digital Marketing
    • Familiarity with SEO / SEM techniques, PPC and ad-buy campaigns for clients
    • Basic understanding of the web development process, including website strategy – what site does a client need for a campaign or strategy, and how is it best delivered?
    • Content recommendations (video, audio, text) to match specific campaigns and audience needs

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and direction of a small team as it relates to client service, new business development, staffing/personnel issues, organizational development, staff training and development, and quality control. Day-to-day responsibilities include Client Servicing
    • Sustain key interface with clients and set the tone for staff in terms of client servicing expectations
    • High degree of professionalism and thorough understanding of client/agency relationships, and a solid understanding of how to manage and operate a business
    • Provide leadership in the areas of total account management including day-to-day account activity, media relations and the provision of strategic guidance and counsel to clients that will assist clients in meeting their business objectives
    • Proactively deliver counsel to clients

A Digital Account Manager must have at substantial relevant experience in digital communications, public relations or marketing and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing. Some agency experience is also a bonus.

Significant thought leadership about the digital space is a plus, including proven track record of blogging and/or social media engagement apart from client-specific efforts.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a proven ability to manage large projects as well as small teams on one or more sizable accounts
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • demonstrated ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit the work of others at or below his/her level.
  • ability to work with senior staff to develop and execute communications plans based on client goals.
  • ability to act as a daily client contact and to be responsible for client-related finance management, including managing large projects within budget.
  • proven knowledge / experience with digital and social media communications including:
    • Strong knowledge of the current online communications landscape
    • Specific experience creating and managing online campaign, marketing or communications efforts.
