
Spook was given four weeks to design and code the Halfords online store. In this time we created and refined concept work to arrive at a final look and feel that worked effectively within the existing site framework and conformed to all brand guidelines.
Spook also designed and developed the complete database and transaction process. Our bespoke system integrates with the existing Halfords systems and hardware - providing the core of the Halfords e-commerce offering and presenting thousands of products online.
An in-house team at Halfords now manages Halfords.com. Maintain, our own content management system allows pages, text, images and stock to be updated 'on the fly'.
Halfords were so impressed with Spook, they also commissioned us to design and implement the 'Halfords Voice' forum. This is a Halfords internal service to encourage discussion and team-building amongst employees.
The system currently supports over 1,500 registered Halfords staff throughout the UK. Helping them discuss corporate issues and improving internal communications.
