Status: Full time (subject to 3 months trial).
Location: Central London.
Salary: Dependant upon experience.
Job Description: We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic developer to join our team on a full time basis.
The ideal applicant must have experience in developing ASP.NET (C#) sites (.NET 1.1 and 2.0 experience) as well as using online databases. Ideally they will not be restricted to one particular coding language and would also be comfortable learning PHP in future.
You should have a well rounded understanding of web application development and have an appreciation of accessibility standards, XHTML, AJAX and general software engineering methodologies. You must also be able to write clear and concise documentation for a variety of audiences.
The successful applicant will join our technical team in developing web applications for a range of clients in predominantly ASP.NET and PHP.
Ultimately, we need a reliable, capable person who enjoys (and is conscientious enough) to see a project through and can think around the best way to approach work from the start, working both in a team and individually.
Flexibility is key, and working in the office (Central London) is essential. The office environment is fun and relaxed whilst at the same time conducive to getting work done.
Required: Languages - .Net (C#); Databases - SQL Server, MySQL; Web servers - Apache, IIS; Qualifications - Degree not essential, though proof of technical competency will be required.
Preferred: Knowledge of PHP, Accessibility Guidelines, CSS, XHTML, AJAX.
