Phil Askew

Head of Creative
Phil is considered “The gran’ daddy” of design” not because of his ripe ‘ol age of 30 something, but because he was one of the original purveyors of fine quality Spook Designs. 18 year’s in this game sonny and not a day goes past without absorbing some other useless tidbit of designery nonsense via osmosis. He can spot the Trajan font from a 1000 paces and is known to roar like a brown bear when in the presence of Comic Sans.
Creativity is his religion and he worships at the shrine of Photoshop. His skills include a delicately persuasive way with cursors and pushing bold and beautiful colours for clients such as Jeep, Krispy Kreme, ExCeL, British Motor Show and Starbucks.
Photography features heavily in his life, it was through his weighty lens that these sumptuous representations of the exquisite Spook form manifested (basically he took the photos of the geezers and birds on these pages). Deeply delicious and ever present, it’s the BFG himself…Phil Askew.
