Marcus has been at the helm of Spook since last century… Well 1999 anyway. That counts.

Graduating from Bristol University with a first class degree in computer science, Marcus took the plunge into a nascent web and never looked back (by which I mean he palmed off his computer science duties onto other more qualified people around him).

Having ably navigated the company through dot com booms and busts, Marcus leaves an impressive list of digital accolades in his wake. Over the years he has helped launch brands into cyberspace including Schweppes, Halfords, Game and Chrysler.

In 2008 a series of conversations with Robert Phillips led to a beautiful marriage between Spook and the largest independent PR company in the land – Edelman, creating a finely-groomed new breed of digital agency with social media at the core of our philosophy.

Presiding now over a dojo of 30 highly skilled digital assassins and an enviable stable of thoroughbred clients, Marcus can be found in his usual seat coordinating the Spook teams to deliver websites and digital campaigns that are visual nitro and technical glisterine.
