Tales from the crypt
Spook was founded way back in 1999 by Marcus Dyer. With bright eyes and a box of tricks, 3 of us set out into the crazy world of an embryonic Internet. Within months, humble aspirations had turned into some wonderful realities as we found ourselves working for some top flight clients including Halfords, Schweppes and Game. Not bad for year one we thought, stroking our beards mischievously.
In subsequent years, Spook has matured right alongside the net. We have worked for companies big and small and whilst we now have the luxury of throwing around some big client names, some of our best work is with the startups you’ll only just be hearing about, so we haven’t forgotten our roots and the blood of a creative boutique still thunders through our veins today.
Our team has always been the key to our creative output and the close knit group with a real passion for their profession and today Spook ably straddles a number of digital disciplines; web design, web development and social media, all converging to make us a fully-tooled digital communications agency.
The nuptials
In 2008 after a spot of flirting and heavy petting, Spook and Edelman were married. Spooks’ digital DNA was thrown into the melting pot with half a century of PR expertise and the result is a new breed of digital agency that fuses a deep knowledge of digital with the communications muscle of a global PR powerhouse. Now with firm roots in Victoria, London and branches across Europe & the globe we’re ready to help our clients tackle digital in all its shapes and sizes.
